Baptistry Heaters
We have baptistry heaters for every application:
- Immersion heaters, require no plumbing, simply plug into 120v or 240v outlet (must have GFCI protection) and suspend the element in the water. 120v Immersion heaters are best for use with smaller or portable baptistries while 240v heaters can be used on larger pools.
- Circulation heaters give more efficient heating of larger baptismal pools as the pump circulates the water throughout the pool.
- Semi automatic baptistry heaters allow unattended filling and will turn on the heater once the water reached a preset level.
- Fully automatic heating systems offer complete ease of use for churches who plan on leaving water in the baptismal pool between baptisms

Which is better choice for heating a baptistry, the immersion heater or the circulation heater?
The IMMERSION BAPTISTRY HEATER is better when:
- You do 3-4 baptisms a year
- Your baptistry is under 800-1000 gallons
- You don't want to fool with installing plumbing or putting any holes in the tank
- You don't mind stirring the water with a paddle to eliminate cold spots
- You have a 240 GFCI protected outlet nearby
- The budget is a little tight
The CIRCULATION STYLE HEATER is better when:
- You do more than about 4 baptisms a year
- Installing plumbing and cutting 2 or 3 holes in the tank is not a problem
- You leave water in the tank more than a couple of days (the circulation helps slow down water stagnation)
- Budgetary concerns are not a big issue
- You have 240v service you can tap in to
