Each divider features rigid hinged panels that extend like an accordion to section off your space, then stack flat against a wall when not in use. Panels hang from a durable aluminum ceiling track, and the dividers swing freely at the bottom for ease of use. Dividers can be made as one continuous wall or as right/left pairs that meet in the middle. Choose from Four Types of Accordion Room Dividers: Standard Church Room Divider – Series 240 The Series 240 is a practical choice when sound reduction is not required. These dividers are best for closing off unused areas such as kitchens, storage rooms, or multipurpose classrooms. The 240 series has open gaps at the top and bottom, which allow greater sound transmission compared to higher-level sound reduction dividers. Level 2 Basic Sound Reduction Divider – Series 2100 The Series 2100 provides a basic level of sound reduction (FSTC 21), making it suitable for adult classrooms, meeting rooms, sanctuaries, and fellowship halls. Compared to the Series 240, these dividers reduce more noise thanks to vinyl sweep seals at the top and bottom. While not soundproof, they create a quieter, more focused environment. Level 3 Deluxe Sound Reduction Divider – Series 3300 The Series 3300 offers a higher level of sound reduction (FSTC 33), making it ideal for spaces where louder activities take place—such as children and youth classrooms adjacent to adult gatherings. These dividers feature vinyl sweep seals plus an internal layer of acoustical sound-dampening material inside the hinged panels, delivering superior noise control. Level 4 Supreme Sound Reduction Divider – Series 4100 The Series 4100 provides our highest level of sound reduction (FSTC 41), approaching the performance of an interior drywall wall. Perfect for sanctuaries, choir practice areas, counseling rooms, and meeting spaces, these dividers deliver near wall-level acoustics while maintaining the flexibility of a movable partition system. Measuring for Church Room Dividers Measure the wall-to-wall distance in inches and ceiling height in inches to the nearest 1/8”. Take multiple height measurements along the width of the opening: For the Series 240, use the shortest measurement. For the Series 2100 and 3300, use the tallest measurement.
