Portable Baptistry Package with Heater SPECIAL Ready to Stain

This well-made portable baptistry SPECIAL features a fiberglass interior tub and a cabinet grade oak plywood cabinet. 

• Fill Time: 15-20 minutes with a garden hose. Heating Time: About 4 hours depending on water temp. Longer in cold areas.
• Drain time about 30-45 minutes with installed drain and a garden hose.
• Minister remains dry, outside baptistry
• Removable wooden steps included with baptistry (Steps will be on the right as viewed from the pews.)
• Fiberglass Tub with built in seat on inside of cabinet allows candidate to be baptised from seated position.
• Included Wheel Kit includes a heavy-duty steel frame with 6 locking heavy duty casters. Wheel kit is removable and all 4 wheels swivel.
• We do not recommend rolling the unit when filled with water. When baptizing, we recommend you either remove the unit from the wheel frame and place on the ground or place wooden blocks or 2 length's of 4x4 under the cabinet to add support for the wheel frame.
• EMPTY WEIGHT about 500 lbs

This unit comes with a drain. 

Leaving water in the tub We don't recommend leaving water in a fiberglass baptistry more than a few days, but if you do plan on leaving water in the tub, be sure to upgrade to the PREMIUM GEL COAT finish. The wooden top is not designed to be left on the unit when full of water. If leaving water in unit for extended periods, order the optional SPA Cover. If leaving water in for short periods with top on, use optional thermal floating cover to minimize moisture on bottom of lid and heat loss.

Select from stain choices: 

• Unfinished: Cabinet will not have any finish or top coat and will be ready to stain.
•  Choose from any Minwax Wood Finish color or If you want the cross (and communion panel if ordered) to be a different color, just let us know in the Special Instructions box at checkout with the Minwax Wood Finish Color Name and Number.
• We use 2 coats of Minwax Wood Finish Stain and 1 coat of sealer.

Here are the basic for operating the portable baptistry with heater

• After you unpack it we suggest doing a test run outside.
•  Wipe out the inside of the tub from any dust, dirt or debris.
•  Fill with water to make sure the suction and return fittings are covered by at least an inch or two of water.
•  Check for leaks inside cabinet at fittings
•  Plug the heater cord into the 120v power outlet.
•  Test the GFCI button on the cord before each use
•  Turn the heater temp knob to off
•  Use the Air button on cabinet to turn the pump on
•  Let pump run for a few minutes to ensure proper operation
•  There is a thermostat on the face of the heater that can be adjusted
•  Once water flow is established…Turn thermostat to mid point…light on heater should come on. Do not expect to feel hot water, it will take time to warm up. Adjust thermostat to desired temperature.
• Before baptsing be sure to unplug the power cord.
•  Before draining unit be sure to unplug heater from power
•  Remove any residual water from tub with a towel or sponge and wipe down interior
•  Let completely dry before replacing lid to unit
•  Refer to the Heater manual for warnings and more instructions, operational considerations, etc.
