Baptistry Water Heater 240V Immersion-No GFCI

It doesn't get much easier than this, simply suspend the heating element in the water and plug the heater in to a 240 volt outlet.

This is a simple low-cost way to heat baptistry water without spending money on plumbers and installation. Perfect for existing baptistry installations where installing a circulation heater would be difficult or expensive.

You can use the included metal bracket to mount the heater to the baptistry side wall, or somce churches mount the unit to a length of 2 x4 that can be easily placed over the baptistry opening and removed before use.

For safety, heater MUST be used with a GFCI protected outlet or breaker. Specifications 240 Volts Single Phase three wire cord (5ft) with plug. This is the same style plug used on your home clothes dryer.

• Adjustable thermostat allows you to set the desired water temperature from 55°F to 115°F. Unit will maintain temperature to desired temperature +/- 3°
• Hi-Limit cut out switch set at 125°F (+/- 4°) helps prevent damage to the heater if it's accidentally left on after the water is drained.

Baptistry Heat-Up Times

• Heat 60 GPH - Gallons per Hour- (40° Rise)

• Heat 90 GPH - Gallons per Hour- (30° Rise)

• Heat 500 gallons in 8.3 hours (40° R) or in 4.15 hours (20° R)

• A 750 to 1,000 gallon Baptistry can be heated in:
  • 13 to 17 hours (40° Rise)
  • 8-1/2 to 11 hours (30° Rise)
  • 6-1/2 to 8-1/2 hours (20 degree rise) in temperature.

Check your water temperature from the faucet to determine how long it will take to heat up your water. A good target range varies from high 80's to low 90's depending on the time of year, ambient temperature and age/health of the person being baptized. (i.e. Elderly in winter may require higher temps than a healthy 20 yr. old in Summer, etc.)
Need to heat your water faster? Order two of these heaters! (Verify electrical circuit capacity 1st) (For general reference purposes ONLY the numbers on the dial go from 4 to 9. 4 = 55 degrees, 5=65, 6=75, 7=85, 8=95, 9=105. Actual temps may vary due to outside air temp and other variables. This is not a guarantee of actual acheivable temperature and if your unit does not reach these temps that is not indiciative of defective product or poor performance and is not a product return issue)

• Heater can be operated on 120 volts, but power will be reduced to 1.5KW and will heat 15 GPH (40°R) or 30 GPH (20°R). (Have a qualified electrician change out the cord set for 120v use)
