Paschal Oil Candles

Our liquid paraffin oil Paschal candles are made of the same indestructible nylon as our altar candles. The candles have a creamy, off-white color that is indistinguishable from 51% beeswax altar candles.

Paschal candles are available either refillable or with drop in canisters. Both candles use our same Altar Pure Liquid Paraffin Church Candle Oil. So which Paschal candle style is better? That depends on your personal preferences.

Paschal Candle Shells- These are complete candles that use a drop-in canister filled with liquid paraffin candle oil. 

• • easier to refill because you can easily lift out the empty canister and replace it with a full one
  • different candle diameters (2"/25hr   2-5/8"/45hr  and 3-1/2"/70hr) available than with refillable
  • can be used without a brass follower or top for churches that prefer a plain candle appearance
  • use with refillable or disposable canisters

Refillable Paschal Candles - Candles with a screw off top allowing you to refill the candle by pouring oil directly into the candle.

• • no canisters to buy, simply screw off the top and pour oil directly into candle
  • standard diameters available (1-1/2"/10hr   1-15/16"/20hr and  2-1/2"/35hr )
  • use bulk oil on all your candles to save money
  • probably slightly better for the environment as you don't end up with empty canisters
