Wind Loading: Different areas of the country have different wind loading requirements. Coastal areas usually have requirements that steeples meet 155mph+ wind loading requirements. It is the churches responsibility to determine the local requirements. Our standard steeples meet 120mph wind loading so if you require 155+ please email us before ordering for a quote to make your steeple meet 155+ requirements (this usually involves engineering reports and additional bracking).

DESCRIPTION Steeple (or cupola) shall be prefabricated of fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP)

MATERIALS. Fiberglass reinforced polyester shall have properties within the following ranges: Flexural Strength ASTM D-790 10,000 - 24,000 psi Tensile Strength ASTM D-638 10,000 - 14,000 psi Compressive Strength ASTM D-695 18,000 – 27,000 psi B. Unit shall be adequately reinforced to prevent warping and buckling of surface panels, with adequate strength to withstand wind speeds of up to 120 mph. All anchoring members shall be steel. C. All components shall be prefit at the factory to assure proper fit and ease of installation.

FINISH: (Standard units): Unit shall have smooth, high gloss polyester gel-coat finish, in white or special color

NSTALLATION Installation should be by an experienced contractor using anchor points provided by manufacturer and using anchor rods or bolts as specified

WARRANTY The manufacturer shall provide a written ten (10) year warranty (2 years for custom designs) against defects in materials and workmanship.
