Accessory plumbing valves and drains for filling and draining your church baptistry.
All baptistries should have an overflow drain valve to prevent the baptistry from overflowing when being filled. We offer two styles of manual drain, internal linkage where the lifting mechanism is inside the tubing and external linkage which features a cable on the exterior of the tubing to lift the drain stopper.

Q. We have a baptistry that is 48” inches deep and need to replace the drain. The overflow/trip lever is located at 42” from bottom of baptistry. I was wondering if you could help me determine if I need the 172 Or 172B drain assembly please.
A. To my knowledge, there are no longer any drains made for 48” baptistries as nobody makes a 48” baptistry anymore.
The 172 is too short and cannot be modified in the field easily.The 172b was discontinued many years ago.

You can modify it by adding additional pipe and if needed, splicing the external control cable.
